Hi – I’m Robin! I’m a 20-something obsessive baker with a ginormous appreciation for anything dark chocolate. I’m addicted to the Food Network and the Travel Channel, I enjoy baking way too much, and maybe/kinda/really have trouble sharing my kitchen. Basically, I’m a 5ft-nothing, CONTROL FREAK.
I LOVE to bake. I have officially taken over birthdays in my family. I have memorized the contents of the baking aisle and I’m a freak for ‘natural’ ingredients… AKA real sugar and real butter, (none of that Splenda or margarine junk). I believe that a fully stocked kitchen means having the ability to whip up cookies and cakes without having to go to the store. I used to work part-time in a Bakery in a let’s-not-use-names, “Gourmet Grocery Store” where I have been able to hone my decorating skills.
Baking is my stress reliever. It’s not uncommon for me to be found in the kitchen at midnight in the middle of the week, pulling cupcakes out of the oven. And although I LOVE tasting my goodies, nothing makes me happier than being able to share them with others!
I started this blog to share my recipes, photos, and baking adventures; also to learn from and meet new people in the baking/blogging world! I love feedback, suggestions, recommendations, and just general comments, I hope you Enjoy!
